We do not sell personal information for money.
Google advertising storage and personalization remain off unless your choices and applicable regional requirements allow them.
You can reopen privacy settings, withdraw optional consent, and ask to access, correct, or delete applicable personal information.

Connected retirement accounts
If you choose to connect a retirement account through Plaid, we receive the institution name and identifier, account name, type and subtype, masked account number, balances, available balances, currency, and update timestamps. Plaid provides us an access token, which we encrypt at rest. We do not receive or store your financial-institution username or password.
Information from service providers
We may receive subscription updates from Stripe, account-linking information from Plaid, advertising delivery or measurement information from Google, weather or market-related data from data providers, and delivery or security information from our hosting and email providers.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, personalize, maintain, and improve TradingHiFi;
- create accounts, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and deliver requested features;
- connect and refresh retirement-account information at your direction;
- respond to messages and feedback and send service communications such as verification, password-reset, billing, and security notices;
- measure site reliability, readership, feature use, advertising, and sponsored-content performance;
- serve and measure personalized or non-personalized advertising according to your choices, our settings, and applicable requirements;
- protect users and the service, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with law; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.

You can change TradingHiFi's choices at any time using . When enabled for applicable regions, Google's certified consent message provides additional choices and a revocation flow.
