Service agreement

Terms,
made readable.

These terms govern your use of TradingHiFi accounts, subscriptions, connected services, market information, and research tools.

Research, not advice

TradingHiFi provides educational information and research tools, not personalized financial advice.

Verify important data

Market information may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable.

You control billing

Paid subscriptions renew on the selected interval until canceled through the available billing tools.

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of TradingHiFi (“TradingHiFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using tradinghifi.com or a related TradingHiFi service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use TradingHiFi for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

02

The TradingHiFi service

TradingHiFi organizes market prices, company activity, macroeconomic context, digital-asset information, real-estate information, research articles, calendars, and related tools. Features, sources, coverage, update frequency, entitlements, and availability may change as the service evolves.

Some features are public, some require an account, and some require an active paid plan. We may introduce, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve the service.

03

Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You may not share access in a way that defeats plan limits, impersonate another person, or create accounts through deceptive or automated means.
  • Connected financial-account features are available only to people who are at least 18 and legally able to use them.

We may require email verification or other reasonable steps to protect accounts and the service.

04

Trials, subscriptions, and billing

Pro trial

Eligible verified accounts may receive the trial period described during registration, currently a free 30-day Pro trial. Starting a Pro trial requires a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to the monthly or annual paid Pro plan selected at signup. We will send reminders before paid billing begins. Trial features, length, and eligibility may be changed for future registrations.

Paid plans

When you choose a monthly or annual Pro plan, the price, billing interval, taxes, and any active promotional price are presented before you complete Stripe Checkout. By completing checkout, you authorize the recurring charges shown there. A paid subscription renews on the selected interval until canceled. Institutional access and pricing are arranged separately through Sales.

Cancellation and billing management

You can use the available “Manage billing” control to update a payment method or cancel through Stripe’s customer portal. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless checkout or the portal states otherwise. Deleting the TradingHiFi account does not substitute for canceling a subscription unless we expressly confirm the subscription was canceled.

Refunds and price changes

Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, paid charges are non-refundable and partial periods are not credited. We may change prices for future billing periods after providing notice required by applicable law. Taxes and provider fees may apply.

Review checkout carefully. Stripe Checkout is the controlling confirmation of the plan, price, renewal interval, taxes, and payment method you select.

05

Financial information and connected accounts

TradingHiFi is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the service is investment, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, a recommendation, an offer to buy or sell an asset, or a representation that any investment or strategy is suitable for you.

TradingHiFi is not acting as your broker-dealer, investment adviser, fiduciary, custodian, bank, tax adviser, or attorney. We do not execute trades or move money through the research service. You remain responsible for your decisions and should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

When you connect a supported retirement account through Plaid, you direct Plaid and your institution to provide the permitted account information to TradingHiFi. Connected access is intended to be read-only. You are responsible for reviewing the permissions shown by Plaid and your institution and for disconnecting access you no longer want.

06

Acceptable use

You may use the service only lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • interfere with, overload, probe, or circumvent the service or its security and access controls;
  • use bots, scraping, bulk downloading, or automated access except where we have given written permission;
  • redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit service content or market data without the necessary rights;
  • reverse engineer protected portions of the service or attempt to extract credentials, tokens, or nonpublic data;
  • upload malware, infringing material, deceptive content, or content that violates another person’s rights;
  • use the service to manipulate markets, violate securities laws, commit fraud, or facilitate unlawful activity; or
  • misrepresent TradingHiFi content, source attribution, freshness, or limitations.
07

Content, feedback, and licenses

TradingHiFi and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, design, research, compilation, branding, and original content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal or internal research.

Market data, articles, filings, trademarks, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable source terms. Source links and attribution do not grant redistribution rights.

If you submit feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we handle associated personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

08

Third-party services, advertising, and links

The service may rely on or link to third parties, including Stripe, Plaid, Google AdSense and advertising partners, hosting providers, data providers, publishers, exchanges, government sources, and external websites. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, security, or conduct.

Public content may include advertising selected and measured by Google and its partners. Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your choices, regional requirements, and our advertising settings. An advertisement does not constitute TradingHiFi's endorsement of the advertiser or its products or services.

Using a third-party connection or enabling an optional technology authorizes us to exchange the information reasonably necessary to provide that integration, as described in our Privacy Policy.

09

Data limitations and disclaimers

Market, company, economic, digital-asset, real-estate, weather, calendar, and connected-account information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, revised, unavailable, or affected by provider and network failures. “Live,” “current,” and similar labels describe the intended source cadence and do not guarantee uninterrupted real-time delivery.

You must verify information that matters to a decision with primary or authoritative sources. Historical performance does not guarantee future results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” TradingHiFi disclaims all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradingHiFi and its owners, personnel, affiliates, providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, or data; trading or investment losses; or losses arising from reliance on service information, even if advised that such damages are possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid TradingHiFi during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

11

Suspension and termination

You may stop using TradingHiFi at any time. You remain responsible for canceling any paid subscription through the available billing controls.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay charges, abuse the service, or if continued access is not reasonably feasible. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, and general terms—will survive.

12

General terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or business changes. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any purchase terms shown at checkout are the entire agreement concerning the service. If checkout terms conflict with these Terms on price, interval, or transaction-specific details, the checkout terms control for that transaction.
